"New Tab Todo List: Checklist, Timer, Reminder, Calendar" ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the Extension handles and how.

2. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

The Extension does NOT collect, store, transmit, or share:

• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Your browsing history or web activity
• Your location
• Any financial information
• Any communications
• Any data from the pages you visit

3. DATA STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE

The Extension stores the following data exclusively in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device:

• Todo tasks, categories, and completion status
• Calendar events
• Reminder settings and alarm times
• World clock city preferences
• Weather city preferences
• Background photo preferences (as compressed image data)
• Your display name (if set)
• Premium status flag

4. EXTENSIONPAY (PAYMENT PROCESSING)

The Extension uses ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) to process one-time payments for the Premium custom backgrounds feature. When you click "Unlock Premium", you are directed to ExtensionPay's payment page. ExtensionPay handles all payment processing and stores payment records. The Extension only receives a boolean "paid: true/false" status in response. No financial details are ever accessible to the Extension.

5. WEATHER DATA

If you add weather cities, the Extension makes requests to the Open-Meteo API (api.open-meteo.com) using only the geographic coordinates (latitude/longitude) of selected cities. No personal information is included in these requests. Open-Meteo is a free, open-source weather API that does not require accounts or track users.

6. PERMISSIONS USED AND WHY

• storage: To save your tasks and settings locally
• tabs: To open the payment page and deliver reminder alerts
• notifications: To show task reminder notifications
• alarms: To schedule and fire reminder notifications
• https://extensionpay.com/*: To verify premium payment status

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

• ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) — payment processing
• Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) — weather data (no account)
• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) — typography only

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

This Extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
