AdVault Pro is a browser extension designed to help users research public ads from Facebook Ad Library and TikTok Ad Library, save selected ads, organize them into folders, add notes, and export saved research.

The extension may process the following categories of data:

• Public ad information visible on supported ad library pages, such as advertiser name, ad text, media preview, platform, ad dates, and ad library links.
• User-created data, such as saved ads, folders, notes, settings, and preferences.
• Technical information required for extension functionality, such as the current supported tab URL to determine whether the page is Facebook Ad Library or TikTok Ad Library.

3. How We Use Information

We use information only to provide the core functionality of AdVault Pro, including:

• Scanning supported ad library pages at the user’s request
• Displaying public ad content inside the extension sidebar
• Saving ads selected by the user
• Organizing saved ads into folders
• Allowing users to add and manage private notes
• Copying ad text or links when requested by the user
• Exporting saved ads to CSV when requested by the user

4. Data Storage

AdVault Pro stores saved ads, folders, notes, settings, and related extension data locally using Chrome extension storage. This data is used only to support the user’s experience within the extension.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We do not share user-created data with third parties for advertising purposes.

The extension may open links to third-party websites, including Facebook Ad Library and TikTok Ad Library, when requested by the user. Those platforms operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Permissions Explained

• sidePanel: Used to display the extension interface in Chrome’s side panel.
• storage: Used to save ads, folders, notes, settings, and preferences.
• activeTab: Used to access the active supported tab when the user interacts with the extension.
• scripting: Used to run content scripts on supported ad library pages to scan visible public ads.
• tabs: Used to detect supported pages, update interface state, and open requested pages.
• clipboardWrite: Used only when the user chooses to copy ad text or links.
• downloads: Used only when the user chooses to export saved ads as a CSV file.
• Host permissions: Limited to supported Facebook and TikTok ad library pages required for scanning public ad content.

7. Third-Party Services

AdVault Pro may interact with public pages on:

• Facebook Ad Library
• TikTok Ad Library

AdVault Pro is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, TikTok, or ByteDance Ltd.

8. Data Retention

Data stored by the extension remains available until the user deletes it, clears extension storage, or uninstalls the extension.

9. User Control

Users control their own saved data and may:

• Delete saved ads
• Delete notes
• Delete folders
• Remove exported files from their device
• Uninstall the extension at any time

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to keep extension data limited to what is needed for the extension’s stated purpose. However, no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Children’s Privacy

AdVault Pro is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by revising the effective date at the top of this page.
